Great day at the River Sweep

Massive thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday and pitched in to clean up the riverfront. This is the kind of thing that makes me love living here.



There's another great opportunity for service coming up next month: Labor of Love, the largest one-day community effort to clean, repair, restore and winterize homes owned and occupied by local senior citizens, disabled individuals and low-income families.

should everyone obey the law

Now I know it shouldn't be a big deal but I just question Why an Ottawa officer should park right next to a no parking sign just to say hi to his kid. I know that if I did the same thing when picking up my kid I'd get a ticket.So why does a law enforcement officer blatantly brake it just because it's convenient,aren't they supposed to be an example?Well on this day he wasn't one to my kid.…
